COMITANS is an internationally operating equity investor headquartered in Munich. We take over companies with significant improvement potential and pursue the objective to improve their performance sustainably with a new entrepreneurial approach.
COMITANS does not only engage operationally and hands-on, but also provides capital. If needed, COMITANS invests alongside with well-known institutional investors and family-offices. There are capital commitments available in the mid double digit Mio EUR range. These funds are complemented by co-investments of COMITANS management.
Investment Strategy
COMITANS takes over - across industries - non-core businesses of corporate groups with low profitability as well as medium sized companies in turn-around or special situations with annual sales up to 500 Mio EUR. Unlike many classical private equity investors COMITANS makes investments with long-term and sustainable perspective and pursues a "buy-and-build"-strategy. Read more

COMITANS was founded by Dr. Ulrich Hauck who held top management positions in large and medium sized corporations as well as in the private-equity sector and gained - during that time - extensive experience in company transactions: both from the acquirer's view as well as from the perspective of the divesting corporpate group or company.
